Alysha is a registered psychologist with experience working with children, adolescents and families in the Illawarra and south coast.
Alysha enjoys workings with clients with varied needs and from various walks of life. Alysha has specialised interest and experience in neurodevelopmental disorders (Autism Spectrum Disorder and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder in particular), perinatal psychology and attachment and parenting support.
Alysha is also a Board Approved Supervisor, able to supervise provisional psychologists.
Bonnie is a registered Psychologist with experience working with children, adolescents and families in the private and public sectors, including specialised infant, child and adolescent mental health services (ICAMHS), private practice, non-profit organisations and out-of-home-care facilities.
Bonnie has experience in treating a range of emotional and behavioural difficulties, and holds a special interest in attachment, parenting and trauma. Bonnie is passionate about helping children, and families thrive by improving parent-child relationships, and optimising individual strengths, skills and wellbeing.
The focus of Brave Psychology is to create a safe space for all who enter it. Treatment is individualised and goals are set together. Alysha and Bonnie use evidence-based approaches and work from an attachment focussed, interpersonal neurobiology approach.
